Grounded in a deep connection to place, Matilda Halley creates ceramics that reflect the natural character of the Coromandel landscape. Working from Driving Creek, she uses locally gathered clays and natural glaze materials, shaped by traditional pottery practices learned across Aotearoa and abroad. Each piece is formed by hand and finished in the kiln, carrying a quiet sense of origin and process.

Finished in a rich green glaze, this teapot is as much an art form as it is for everyday use. Thoughtfully balanced and pleasing to pour, it brings a sense of care and intention to the ritual of making tea.
