Ōtautahi ceramicist Jordie MacDonald has been working with clay since 2007, when a gifted pottery course sparked a lasting passion. Guided by an ethos of functionality, beauty, and storytelling, she often incorporates locally sourced wild clays, gathered only from already disturbed sites. Each piece reflects both her craft and a strong connection to place.
