Jody Martin | Bonsai Planter | Sandstorm on Tongariro

Jody Martin has been working with clay and ceramics for many years initially with handbuilding but in recent years she has focussed on her throwing skills using her Bernard Leach kick-wheel. Her current work is influenced by the aesthetics of Japanese and Korean ceramics – refined but full of character.

A bonsai planter featuring a unique glaze inspired by the soft, muted hues of the Desert Road in the Central Plateau.
