We love the story of Yamazaki which started as a small, family-run ironing board company over a century ago in Japan. As time went on they saw the needs of their customers evolving, and rather than stay with only ironing boards, Yamazaki decided to go on the journey with their customers and grow their offering to meet the growing needs of their customers.
Yamazaki’s goal is to create home goods, housewares, and happy-making objects with small-space sensibility. They believe that even the smallest transformations through the home can help people stress less and live more joyfully.
We personally love Yamazaki as they make everyday items such as washing baskets, storage containers and dish racks beautiful, minimal, and inspiring. Household items that we don’t expect to be things of beauty are transformed into aesthetically pleasing, quality pieces that last the test of time.
