Francis (Courtney Rodgers) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice primarily centres on photography and videography. Driven by a profound passion for creation and a spirit of experimentation, 'Francis' has emerged from the expansion of their artistic exploration. Their work consistently draws inspiration from the inherent beauty of the natural world and the dynamic process of artistic experimentation, often reflecting the interplay between these two powerful influences.

Redefining their ceramic expertise through a focused period with acclaimed ceramic artist Taiga Mori in Bizen, Japan. Most recently, they completed a residency at Driving Creek in Coromandel which is where the 'Winter Range' emerged.

These ceramic pieces are characterised by their singular and unrepeatable nature. While thematic or stylistic similarities may exist across their body of work, each piece possesses a unique and distinct character.
